It looks right. Something feels wrong.

Focus on details you can show. A side-by-side record is more useful than an argument about whether a seller can be trusted.

01

Save the original listing

Capture the advertised brand, model, photos, condition, seller identity, and any authenticity claims. Save the page address and date so the record still makes sense if the listing changes.

02

Photograph specific differences

Keep the item, packaging, labels, and receipt. Photograph the features that do not match the listing. If you seek an authenticity assessment, record who provided it and what they actually concluded.

03

Ask for the correct resolution

Explain the mismatch in writing and ask the seller or marketplace for its return and dispute instructions. Keep the response. Check any payment-provider options and deadlines before waiting indefinitely.
